ABUS Granit Detecto XPlus 8008 Lock for Cyclists

The ABUS Granit Detecto X Plus 8008 is a motorcycle brake disc lock with a Security level of 19, made in Germany. Brake disc locks are a compact category of motorbike locks, making them easy to transport. To further enhance security during longer parking periods, it is recommended to secure the motorbike to a fixed object using ABUS Granit X Plus U Locks.

The lock's 3D detection system warns the rider when the bike is lifted into an upright position, preventing unintended rides with the locked bike. It offers very good protection for valuable motorbikes in high-risk theft areas.

The lock comes with a protective bag for easy and secure transportation, often in a special compartment under the seat. The 16mm steel bolt, as well as the supporting elements of the locking mechanism, are made of specially hardened steel, ensuring high levels of protection.

The ABUS 3D detection system monitors every movement, triggering an alarm of at least 100dB. The lock can be transported in a locked condition without activating the detection system, thanks to an automatic brake disc recognition system.

Various acoustic signals inform the user about the battery status, activation, and alarm status. The ABUS X Plus cylinder provides the highest level of protection against manipulation, and two keys are supplied with the lock, one of which is LED-lighted.

The ABUS Code Card allows for the addition or replacement of keys. A CR2 battery for the alarm function is included with the lock.
